Description
Naval guns bombard Salerno as an injured sailor is carried from his station. Troops land and advance past wreckage. A road bed is repaired; German installations are bombed. Shows street fighting in Naples, and Gens. Clark and Montgomery. Italian civilians cheer and receive food.
